Biography

Louis Morvan has begun his vocal studies in Nantes before to study with Brigitte Balleys at the Lausanne Haute Ecole de Musique and now with Giaccomo Patti.

He has taken part in the Rudolf Piernay, Josef Loibl, Snezana Stamenkovic, Thierry Pillon and Martin Katz’s Masterclasses

 On Stage, he sang Bartolo (Nozze di Figaro) under Leonardo Garcia Alarcon’s baton and le Geôlier (Dialogues des Carmélites) at the Lausanne HEMU.

On Concert he sang Brahms’s Ein Deutsches Requiem in  la Chaux-de-Fonds, de Johann Sebastian Bach’s 30th Cantata under Stephan Mac Lead’s baton at the Lausanne HEMU, Jesus (Schütz Matthäus Passion) in Cossonay.

More recently, he has sung Le Médecin  (Pelléas et Mélisande) at the Caen Grand Théâtre  Brander (Damnation de Faust) at the Teatro San Carlo of Naples,  Neptune 's Voice (Idomeneo) at the Lorraine National Opera,  Masetto et le Commandeur (Don Giovanni) the Bach's Mattheus Passion et the Paris Théâtre des Champs Elysées, L’Homme au casque, le Vieux et le Mendiant aveugle (Martinu's Juliette ou la clé des songes) at the Nice Opera, Le Vieillard Hébreu (Samson et Dalila) in Saint-Etienne, the Pope Leon (Attila) & Fenicio (Ermione), at the Marseille Opera,.

Among his projects, Fafner (Das Rheingold), Masetto (Don Giovanni), at the Opera de Marseille, Masetto and  the Commandeur (Don Giovanni) in Valencia, Frere Laurent (Roméo et Juliette) in Saint-Etienne
