Biography

Astrid Dupuis studied voice at the Conservatoire Jacques Thibaud in Bordeaux with Sharon Coste and Maryse Castets, before continuing her training at the Les Maîtres Sonneurs Opera Studio in Toulouse. She has also taken part in the Académie de Musique Ancienne de Saint-Loup, working with Damien Guillon, as well as in masterclasses with Raphaël Pichon, Yves Coudray, Natalie Dessay and Laurent Naouri.

On stage, she has performed Suzuki (Madama Butterfly) at the Piu di Voce Festival in Périgord, the title role in Carmen with Labopéra Périgord-Dordogne, and, more recently, Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro) at the Piu di Voce Festival.

Her recent engagements also include Mercédès (Carmen) with Labopéra Bourgogne, Métella (La Vie parisienne) at the Festival Lyrique de Lamalou-les-Bains, and Laura (Iolanta) at the Opéra National de Bordeaux.

A laureate of the Fonds Tutti’s Programme Tremplin in 2022, she performed alongside her mentor, Étienne Dupuis, at the Amphithéâtre of the Opéra Bastille in Paris.
