Biography
Violette Polchi started her musical studies at an early age. She was a member of « La Maîtrise de Radio France », then « La Maîtrise de Paris » at the Regional Conservatory of Paris. She participated in many concerts with prestigious conductors such as Kurt Masur, Myung-Whun Chung, Riccardo Muti and Marco Guidarini.
Then, she started to study lyrical art with Mireille Alcantara at the Paris Ecole Normale de Musique where she has received the Superior Diploma of Concert Artist.
She performed at the Avignon Opera in Simon Boccanegra and also in Italy for the role of Nicklausse and la Muse (Les Contes d’Hoffmann).
She has sung Berignella, Ninetta (La Périchole) at the Marseille Théâtre de l’Odéon, Dorabella (Cosi Fan Tutte) at the Massy Opera and in Reims, un Paggio (Rigoletto) at the Chorégie d'Orange, Marie-Blanche (Messager's Les P'tites Michu) at the Angers Nantes Opera, at The Paris Athénée Theater and in Tours, Garcias (Massenet’s Don Quichotte ) in Saint-Etienne.
Among her projects, Mercedes (Carmen) at La Fenice, in Massy and Avignon, Octavian (Der Rosenkavalier) in Avignon, Caprice (Offenbach’s Le Voyage dans la Lune) in Montpellier, Tours, Toulon, Marseille, Limoges…
